Norwich is getting ready for the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest, with multiple events being held across the city.
The final of the song contest will be held in Liverpool on behalf of Ukraine due to the ongoing Russian invasion. In fact, it will be the first time the UK has hosted the infamous event for 25 years.
Several events will be held across Norwich to celebrate the big occasion. One of those places is Norwich Arts Centre who will be holding a viewing party from 7:30PM.

The party will also play host to Norwich drag stars and guest artists who will be performing all of the Eurovision classics.
Other Eurovision events in the city include a “tacky and silly Eurovision Quiz” at ‘The Rivergarden’ pub. And ‘Cinema City’ on St. Andrews St will be holding a screening party.
One person in Norwich who will be celebrating is University of East Anglia student Ollie Scanlan.
He said, “I will be going home to my house because my mum has a party for it [and] she gets really into it.”
He will be joined by “family and friends” and even his neighbours who come together, “have a few drinks” and celebrate the big event.
The UK’s Eurovision entry for this year comes from 25-year-old Mae Muller with her tune “I wrote a song.” The pop star rose to fame after the release of her single “Better Day’s” which got into the UK and US top 40 charts.
You can watch the final from 8PM on Saturday on BBC One and BBC One HD.
